We first came across Bella—better known as “bigbuggirl13”—on Instagram.

Her post wasn’t filled with trending outfits or beachside selfies. Instead, it was covered in… bugs. At first, it felt a little odd. But the more we scrolled, the more we were drawn in.

Through her lens, insects were strangely beautiful, sometimes even mesmerizing.

And the real star of the show? The mantis. Graceful, curious, and just a little bit mysterious—especially that one green, almost otherworldly mantis that kept making an appearance. 💚

Hi! I’m Bella—bug enthusiast, insect advocate, and a lifelong mantis lover.

As a kid, I was obsessed with bug plushies, dressed up as insects for Halloween, and dreamed of one day opening my own insect zoo.🕷️

My mission? To help people see the beauty in bugs—and maybe even fall a little bit in love with them.🐛I get it—a lot of folks are afraid of insects and spiders, or have had not-so-great experiences with them.💔 That’s totally valid.But that’s exactly why I’m here: to help change that.

Through my social media, I shine a positive light on these tiny creatures—busting myths, challenging misconceptions, and showing just how smart and fascinating they really are.🐞
